Small Changes Lead to Much Enjoyment

Randy took some time on one of our "Monday work days" to tighten up all the cabinets in the kitchen. It made it feel like a new kitchen!!! All of the doors worked perfectly and even looked new from their sheer evenness.

As you can see, Gus approves.

Sunrise on the Farm.

Chum has this habit of wanting to go outside a little before I am ready. He wakes me up and I tend to be a little grumpy. But, I tell you what! That little dog has the best sense of when to wake me up. He wakes me up every full moon and almost every great sunrise, so even if I am not ready to get up, I still get to see it =)
Thanks Chum. I even got the camera out for this one. It was just making the whole house glow so beautifully.

No, Randy, there is not a "scrubbie" in the drain.

Yes, Kayci, there is a "scrubbie" in the drain. Randy pulled a purple "scrubbie" out of the drain last Monday. No wonder it would not drain the water out. Let me tell ya'! The smell was not pleasant. But the water washed down the drain dramatically faster. Just enjoying the little projects getting to know the house better and ourselves, too.

MONTEL!

Montel: n: A smoothie produced by the Montel Williams HealthMaster.
v: to grind up fruit, veg, protein, etc in the Montel Williams HealthMaster.

also referred to as "The Montel" which is the actual machine in which we produce aforementioned smoothies.
Wonderful! I tend to put in an apple (or two), 2 bananas, a scoop of greens, a scoop of protein, yogurt, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries (sometimes), grape juice, orange juice and sometimes a pear.

It's a concoction, but it is fun and delicious. Especially since Randy said I should add yogurt. We tend to drink it throughout the day.

THANKS DEAN!

Randy and I were so excited to wake up to a beautiful snowy morning and before the "boohoo we have to go to work in this weather" sets in - here comes Dean Monke to clear our driveway. I felt like a little kid running around taking pictures. What a fun experience! Nan thought it was pretty cool too.

Thanks again, Dean.

Wintertime on the farm.

Yes, my friends, it has been awhile, but as the sun peaks out of the clouds with snow blowing and drifting I thought I might update our blog. We are getting some big/little plans underway. As most people know, if you take tiny steps it is all apart of the big picture/adventure dream.
So here are some pics I took today, just as an update. More pics to follow, stay tuned.
